Literally never answer the phone. Always a message stating they are closed, even during business hours.

After trying for a couple of days, when I could finally reach them by phone, the Service Point employee did not seem to know his work much and sounded rude and tired. I noticed that the comment section here is full of negative comments. Did McGill read these reviews? Because clearly the service point employees need more training on their services and the customer relationship!

The actual staff seem nice, but McGill administration has a huge issue of not funding any student support services. I'm genuinely not sure if they even have phone operators working here. I've never been able to talk to anyone despite trying nearly 10 times on different days.

If you require first point services you're already doomed... half online don't work and when it works it process your payment multiple times.

I took an appointment at 12 to pick up my diploma. No one until 1pm to give it to me. Really useful to have taken an appointment...

Almost 3 weeks for printing my diploma is not acceptable for a 100k$/student university.

Very bad service. I wonder why agents do not have the same access to Mcgill website as students. The male agent who talked to me was impatient, rude, and was not coopereative. I feel so sorry for new students who need help. Dear McGill , Please make sure that your agents are able to have the same screen as students, as your agent claims that he could not help me because he does not have access to the student page!!!!

Completely useless. I've been there about 5 times to get answers concerning a program's prereqs. The staff cannot tell me anything other than reading their website. They've outright lied to my face before about a program taking into account my work experience, only to be told it didn't matter after paying fees.

I'm not sure whether McGill created Service Point to discourage students from enrolling in their university or if the staff is both inadequate or lacks the tools to do their jobs.

They need to learn how to better engage with students. The administrative bureaucratic labyrinth that is McGill University is so hostile to individual students who are trying to navigate unnecessarily complex processes spread across different departments. Pretty abysmal service integration with the rest of the University. Certain individuals who work here are super kind, but the department as a whole is just awful. Typical McGill. After four years of being a student here and trying to navigate the institution I'm so sick of it. McGill students and community (and even the people who work in Service Point) deserve better.

Pretty unhappy, the persons at the desk did help me but made me feel unconfortable, they have no notion of friendliness or "customer service" (with students) if I could say so
