Had a clogged line had seen them in my neighborhood thought I’d give them a try. Massive mistake. First the guy tried to charge me $500+ after quoting me $375 (which is still too much but it needed to be done sooner rather than later so fine). After calling him on it his excuse was he’d only been with the company for only 3months. Got the original price he quoted me after implying I was being a Karen for questioning why he’s suddenly tacking on $200. Amazing how my AC was working JUST fine prior to him coming and NOW it won’t turn on. First last and only time I’ll be using this piss poor company. It’s a scam don’t fall for it

Amending my review:
I called Aire Serv because I was HOT (figuratively and literally). This triggered the manager to contact me. I spoke with the manager who sent out an on call technician to come and look at my unit and see if we could figure out what was going on. The technician was very nice and worked in the dark and rain and under a crawl space to figure out what was going on and was able to get us back up and running. I’ve also been in contact with a rep who is going to come out on Monday to make sure we’re completely squared up. Overall I’m impressed with how quickly they addressed my problem.

Was frustrated at first that they were here from 2p until 11p to install a new furnace. I go to bed at 9:30p. But I thought about it...Furnace is in attic..Old furnace was 32yrs old...old furnace was installed before the tiny attic pulldown stair was installed. Those guys worked hard to get the old one down and the new one up. Then to have to conduct a new system to old stuff. I definitely can't complain. Bottom line, they got it done, it works just as it should, their service is great...I'm on their annual plan...just go with them.

In early December, I reached out to Aire Serv to have a return vent added to a room. I was impressed with how quickly they responded—within minutes of submitting my request, I received a text (albeit at 2 a.m.), and the following morning, they contacted me to schedule an estimate.

Joe came out the next day to provide the estimate. He was professional, thorough, and offered the most competitive price among the three companies I was considering. At this point, I’d give the pre-signing process 4.5 stars—almost perfect. I did mention that I planned to review all my quotes and would sign within their 7-day window.

However, when I had some follow-up questions, I encountered some difficulty getting in touch with the project or general manager (I’m unsure of his exact title). While he eventually answered my questions, the delay was noticeable. Additionally, when I was ready to approve the estimate, I discovered that the approval link—intended to remain active for 7 days—had expired after 6, forcing me to call back and request a new one.

Once I signed the estimate, I was told I would hear from them within a day or two. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear back for two weeks. While I understand it was the holiday season and I was busy as well, I still expected more proactive communication. When I finally called to check, they assured me they would get back to me the following Monday. By Tuesday, I received a question about the filter size, which I had already provided during my initial call. On Wednesday, I finally received a text letting me know they could come out the next morning.

The Technician - 6 out of 5 Stars
The real MVP of this experience was Alex, the technician. He deserves more than 5 stars—his professionalism, expertise, and communication were exceptional.

Alex called the next morning to let me know he was on his way and needed to assess the situation before picking up parts from the office (which was a 30-minute drive away). I wasn’t prepared for this, as I had been told the job would take about 3 hours total. I rearranged work meetings for this window, so the shift in timing was inconvenient.

Despite this, Alex arrived promptly, was extremely respectful, and reassured me that although he spotted an issue, it wouldn’t be a problem once he had the correct parts. He explained everything clearly. After returning to the office, he apologized for the 5-hour delay—he had to help a short-staffed colleague, which I understood.

However, there was a frustrating moment where I missed a call around 1 p.m. When I returned the call, it got disconnected, but I immediately received a text asking me to call back—clearly a message meant for prospective clients. It felt like new clients were getting quicker responses than those who had already signed estimates.

Alex returned later that day and installed nearly everything except for one part—the correct size but the wrong item—due to a warehouse mix-up. He came back the next morning to finish the job, and his dedication and craftsmanship were outstanding. Aire Serv is fortunate to have someone like Alex on their team.

Final Thoughts
My lower rating is solely due to the lack of communication after I signed the estimate. A simple call saying, “Hey, thank you for choosing us. We’re short-staffed due to the holidays. Can we set a date for early January?” would have gone a long way.

We had a technician come out to look at our furnace and told us it had to be replaced. He said it was easy in-house finance and this guy can get you financed. Repeated telling us how old our furnace was like we didn’t understand that. The next guy came same conversation about our old outdated furnace. He couldn’t get us financed for expensive furnace. No other options for repair. Guy asked for coming out fee and left. All they want is to sell you a new furnace. I hate my husband ever called them

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Technicians are unprofessional, management lack integrity and they all have horrible communication. I inquired about the duct and vent cleaning service. Joe Parks, the sales manager, came to my house to explain the process. He told me ALL vents would be cleaned and before and after photos would be provided to ensure quality of service. They never showed up to 3 of the appointments and when they finally did show up on 08/10/24, they did a horrible job. No before and after photos, and they left my house full of paint chips, dust and debris. They also never cleaned the bathroom vent or the dryer vent, which was included in the “service.” They demanded the balance of $1,387.50 and said they would return the following week to finish the job. I paid and they never came back. I called the main office and they told me the technicians who serviced my house were terminated for substandard work. I then called Joe Parks to explain the situation and in the condition my house was left, he told me he didn’t have the manpower to come redo the job so he would give me a full refund. It has been over a month since he said I would receive a “check in the mail.” This man has no integrity, no word and no ethics when it comes to making empty promises on behalf of this company and acting like his working on a solution. Every time I called the office, the had no idea about that I was talking about. He never relaid the message about anything. I’ve been nothing but patient through this battle to get this resolved and it just doesn’t seem to her anywhere. I’ve requested for another member of management to contact me and nothing.

The service technician, Anthony, spent a good deal of time with me today and he was great. He was very thorough and offered updates throughout his servicing of our 3 units. Tech did a great job explaining what he was going to do to the unit. And was very knowledgeable about added services they had available to us and was not pressuring us into getting something we didn’t need right now. Also schedulers did great job answering any billing questions we had. Also liked the app give us updates on arrival times.
